Dan has the ability to connect with children of all ages with his sense of humor and his athletic nature. Dan is married to Colleen Taylor and father to two biological daughters and two sons adopted from Ethiopia. Dan works full time and volunteers his free time to the mission of Project HEAL. He has a BA in Business from Fairfield University.

Colleen Taylor

Founder

Married to Dan Taylor and is a mother to two biological daughters and two sons adopted from Ethiopia. Colleen has a BA in Political Science from Fairfield University. She has a passion for helping the children of Ethiopia who are marginalized and impoverished by providing opportunities for them to succeed and break the cycle of poverty.

Tara Heilingoetter

Photography + Media

Imagery is vital in order to spread awareness of Project HEAL's mission. Tara is passionate about connecting our students and supporters together through the lens of photography. Tara has a BFA in Photography and Imaging from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.

Jordan Rimkus

Fundraising + Events

Since the start of Project HEAL, Jordan has played an integral part in organizing fundraisers and events to help spread the word. She excels at networking and bringing together people for a common goal. She has a BA in Economics from Michigan State University. Jordan resides in Franklin, TN with her husband Dave and their two children, Emerson and Blair.

Education

Christel has an extensive background in education with an MAT from Sacred Heart University, BA from Boston College with a double major in early childhood education and special education K-12. Christel is a former elementary school teacher who is passionate about education and brings her expertise to Project HEAL. Christel understands how education can change lives and build bright futures.

Ryan graduated from Fairfield University with a double major in marketing and information systems. He is currently employed as the managing director of a small family investment firm which ranges from real estate to service industries. He has developed and redeveloped over 125,000 square feet of property. Ryan loves being involved from the ground up building of the new Love for the Children Academy.
