Building From The Ground Up: Phase Two
Opening in September 2016, Love for the Children Academy rented a building that had two classrooms and a washroom. With 89 sponsored students, the Academy was at maximum capacity. With the local government's approval, we were granted land to build a compound to call our own! Thanks to all your generous donations, in 2018 we completed the first phase of our new compound. We constructed one classroom building consisting of 4 classrooms, a washroom, kitchen and a cafeteria room. We are now in the second phase; the construction of an additional classroom building. This new building will provide four classrooms. As Love for the Children Academy continues to grow, we will be able to accommodate more students, equipping them with the tools they need to succeed and overcome the cycle of poverty.
